The KYSO, established in 2002, provides talented young musicians the opportunity to develop performance and ensemble skills by working with a professional conductor and performing in concerts throughout the year. There are also opportunities to work with professional musicians, play chamber music and to attend workshops with visiting artists.
The KYSO is open to advanced string, woodwind, brass and percussion players. Admission into the KYSO is by audition. For more information or to schedule an audition please call the CCSA office.
